Welcome to the High Road School of Massachusetts—a state-approved day school that provides personalized educational services to intensive special needs students (aged 12–22) in Plymouth County, MA.
For more than 25 years, High Road Schools have been building meaningful partnerships with district personnel by implementing a flexible curriculum that meet their expectations and requirements. The programs of our time-proven educational model are individualized based on student IEPs and are carefully designed in accordance with state requirements and local district and community needs.
Our paramount goal is returning students to their home schools in the public school system as speedily and seamlessly as possible, whenever applicable, so they can carry on with their schooling and carry out productive futures happily and successfully.
In traditional academic settings, students are expected to adapt to the teaching style of the teacher. At High Road, however, our teachers adapt to the learning styles of the students, reinforcing individual strengths and correcting individual deficits in the process.
Each student’s IEP determines their particular instruction modalities and lesson plans, yet all High Road students benefit from our comprehensive education model, consistently delivered across the board in all classrooms:

• Flexible Curriculums Adapted to Student Aptitudes & Individual
Learning Styles
• 1:2 Staff- to-Student Ratio & Small Class Sizes of 7–9 Students
